Hi all! I’m StyxLady, and I currently write a DITFT challenge called A Rolling Stone Gathers No Moss. I have been considering starting a more laid back project on the side, and I have finally decided what it’s going to be.
Yep, an “I’m Surrounded By Idiots” challenge! This should be pretty challenging, for me, because letting sims run around and do whatever without my direction is something I find difficult to do!
I’ve also loved reading some of the many Berry Sweet stories out there, so I decided to add a Berry twist to my ISBI.
This will be set in Sugar Valley, and you can download the beta version of the town by clicking that link!

Her traits are: Insane (as mandated by the challenge), Daredevil, Evil, Easily Impressed, and Schmoozer.
All but Insane were randomly rolled.

It is fun, and for me, it’s a big challenge! lol…I’m a micro-manager with my sims, usually.

As for graphics, I just have the settings turned all the way up under video options in the game…and I also have default skins and eyes that make my simmies look a little more realistic. 🙂

Sorry I have a question, in an ISBI can I make-over (send to stylist station) a non-playable/non-heir sims?
According to the rules, you can do so once each time they have a birthday (or when they first move in). I have Twallan’s master controller mod, which allows me to do it anytime, without sending them to any object. I highly recommend anything by Twallan! 🙂
If I can bug you again… how did you manage to have a different header for each torch holder? I’m going nuts over this, trying to find that feature…
I was going nuts about that too, until Orangeplumbob told me how, so don’t feel bad..lol. So you go to “insert picture”, and find the header you want to use in your media gallery (or upload it if you haven’t yet), but instead of hitting the insert button, you click the little link to the right of that which says “use as featured image.” then you just X out of the box, and voila, specialized header for that post! You have to do it on every post that you want a different header on, but I love the customization it allows. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Ah yes, the old boolprop shut down and moved. Here’s a link to a different site with the rules. I’ve adapted them a bit in my game, because I got bored of the Insane trait. XD

i went to that link for the isbi rules,but how do the points work with the sims 3?
I found a better explanation here! At the end of the challenge, all the negative stuff that happened gets -5 points each. All the positive stuff (births, LTW completion, etc.) gets +5 I think. And then you get a certain amount for finishing, which I can’t actually find anywhere. XD

How do you take pictures of of the pop ups and family tree?
I have my game in windowed mode, and use the print-screen button on my keyboard (up by the scroll lock button). Then I paste the image into Paint and crop it!
